(The Exposition)
I. The Scandal
a. Introduction of Main Character Lord Frederick Smith
i. Lives in Smith Palace in Britain (a place of grandeur)
ii. King’s weapon maker
iii. Finely dressed, nose turned up, good at military technique, greedy
iv. Short brown hair, blue eyes, tall and lanky
v. Cornwallis’ best friend
b. Introduction of Britain and their American Colonies
c. Frederick wants more money same with Group of Powerful Friends (William Howe, King George III, Henry Clinton, and Lord Cornwallis)
i. Frederick knows that war time will make him lots of money
1. Frederick wants war because they will buy his weapons
ii. His friends who are military leaders as well as the King want to get back at France (they have been in constant battle and dislike one another)
1. They know the French will side with any of their enemies
a. If they start a war with other people the French will join and they can defeat both
i. Weaken France to make taking over easier at a later time
(The Rising Action)
iii. Create Scandal
1. Raise Taxes in Colonies
a. Britain gets more money
b. Give reason for a rebellion against Britain
2. Will get friends in the Colonies to incite others to carry out a rebellion against Britain
a. Frederick goes to a dear old friend Mary Jefferson who he had met on a trip to the colonies
i. Mary has a brother Thomas who was quite popular with Colony Members
ii. Frederick gets her to convince Thomas to start this rebellion
1. They also instruct Mary to make sure the colonies think Thomas is on their side at All Times
a. Even if the colonies win Thomas still has to pretend to be on the colonies’ side
i. No matter what it takes
2. As payment for Thomas’ deed, he will be greatly honored, revered, and given a great sum of money by the King of Britain and other persons of power
iii. Mary agrees to convince her brother
1. She is successful
b. Thomas gets the population of the colonies angered by the British
3. Frederick and Co. hope the French will side with the colonies
a. Hope the French will send their troops
d. Conflicts for this part of the story
i. External
1. The war they are starting (Combat to Peace)
ii. Internal
1. Start war just to get money? (Dilemma to Decision)
2. Should I fool all these people? (Question to Answers)
3. What effect will my weapons have on the world? Will it be bad or good? (Mystery to Solution)
II. The War
a. Colony Friends incite more rebellion against the British
i. Thomas gets his friends rallied and excited
1. He is instructed not to fight in the war by Frederick and the King
(The Climax)
a. Instead he will do work for the British undercover
2. Thomas leads a massive tea dumping of British goods
a. As instructed by the King in secret
i. This tea dumping is a “protest” against taxes on British goods
ii. British Troops come in
1. Use Fredericks weapons
a. He makes money
2. The Battle Begins
iii. The French come in and give their aid to the colonies and send lots of troops
1. This fulfills Frederick and Co.’s plan
(The Falling Action)
b. Conflicts for this part of the story
i. External
1. The war (Combat to Peace)
ii. Internal
1. My weapons are killing people. Is that right? (Question to Answer)
2. I sent my best friend Cornwallis to war. Was that right? Is he okay? (Mystery to Solution)

III. The Defeat
a. The battle goes on for a long time
i. Cornwallis loses a battle at York Town
a. The King, Frederick, and other Friends tell him not to surrender
b. Yet he surrenders any way
2. The colonies win alongside the French
3. Frederick is very mad at best friend
4. Cornwallis plan to go to India
(The Resolution)
b. The Outcomes:
i. Frederick gets his money
ii. The King and Frederick’s military friends are furious at Frederick
1. He lost all the colony land as well as they did not get French land
iii. The King is so mad that Frederick is sent to live in India and banished from Britain
iv. Thomas is forced to live on the side of the colonies
1. Discovers it is a lot better
a. Is thought of as hero on both sides
i. Writes the constitution for the United States
1. King is mad
c. Conflicts for this part of the story
i. External
1. The war (Combat to Peace)
2. Flight with Cornwallis (Combat to Peace)

Your story has so much depth and secrecy to it. It is very interesting how Fredrick is making weapons to fight against the king and then he goes and fights FOR the king correct?
well since this is deffinetly conservatism in act we will need to disscuss further connections. For example: in my story the father is a conservative so maybe Fredrick and the father (i need to think of a name for this fine gentalmen) could be working with each other. Father is a very powerful man in my story so they could have so many connections.

I love the depth you included in your story, though it would have been easier to understand if the individual topics had been indented. Don't worry about it, I had the same issue!
